Hydro One strives to be a supply chain leader through programs and technologies that protect people, manage impacts on the environment, and promote energy efficiency. We pursue alignment with suppliers that share our vision of sustainability and safety while providing the right material or service at the right place, at the right time, and for the best value.

We recognize that a strong, diverse supplier community is essential to economic vitality and proactively seek opportunities to create strategic partnerships with our suppliers.

Procurement Opportunities

Hydro One utilizes SAP Ariba which provides a single, cloud-based source-to-order solution, improving speed of processing, reducing errors and exceptions, and allows Hydro One to collaborate more easily with our suppliers.

The supplier registration process is the foundation of our relationship with new and existing suppliers. Registering and maintaining a supplier profile lets us stay current on the products, services and overall ability of your organization. Registered users will be able to view, correspond with Hydro One during a sourcing event and submit responses to sourcing events through the tool. There is no cost to use Ariba and connects us to the largest business network in the world.

It is important to note that registering as a supplier enables your company to be considered, but does not constitute an obligation on our part to purchase products or services from your company.

At Hydro One, we are committed to ensuring opportunities exist for Indigenous community members to play a role in our procurement process and activities. If you would like your company to be identified as an Indigenous business and would like to be included in our Indigenous Business Directory, please register with SAP Ariba where you can self-identify as an Indigenous business and consent to be added to Hydro One's Indigenous Business Directory .

Hydro One utilizes Docusign to review and obtain signatures on contracts during award stage.  Registered users will be able to "Redline" and eSign in Ariba (eSignature capabilities are provided through DocuSign).
